Since 2000, a lot of Nigerians people bring out a new movement call "broutage". As they said it’s about taking back the money that white people own them or for other Nigerian guys it’s taking revenge of their parents who were slave.

The "broutage" works on the internet and these Nigerians always create a new way to take money from white people. Every person living in Europe or America and especially white people, must be very careful about any email they receive from unknown person whether in our inbox or spam.
Nowadays many people in Africa such as Ivory Coast, Ghana, Burkina Faso and more countries are following these Nigerians while cheating via internet a lot of white people in developed countries.
 
How they proceed
  • The wise "broutage"
 
Some of them are using wise techniques to take money. They create an account for their girlfriend on dating website while finding a lot white man and use their girl friend to take money from them.
80% of people who register on dating website want to build a relationship, that’s why 40% of them will be agreed to start to chat with these girls.
All their objectives are to receive money from these white people so they can do anything with their girlfriend. Sometimes these girls can show their body or make sex by webcam. This is to better attract the white man for future purpose.
Another people have many fake legal documents that they present to organization, businessman or companies on the internet. These documents can be a fake house property or a fake land document in Africa. They can even try to take a picture of an unfinished musk or church and ask money from organization while telling them that they need some to achieve these musk or church.
  • The Wicked "broutage"
This technique is about using their girl friends to have sex on cam. This is mostly happen with a rich or influential white people. During the show time, they will record everything then ask later (3-4 days) to the influencial person to give money or they will publish the live sex all over the world which can destroy the reputability of that man.

The fast "broutage" is one of the easiest and common techniques to take money from white people. It’s about taking something personal or special from these white people such as their pictures, armlet and more.
These objects go to a traditional or esoteric place where they are able to catch their attention or do something bad so that any time these robbers ask money, the white man in return will give them without asking any question. UNREAL but TRUE in Africa.This is the fastest way as they don’t have to do a lot of effort to convince these white people before getting their money.

One reporter in Ghana said that these traditional or esoteric techniques have a bad consequence as most of them don't have to sleep with a woman again, other have to spend all the money received the same day and the rest will die early because they sold their age while doing so.


How to avoid it

Never add a picture from your head to leg on dating site, never send or accept an object as a gift, never respond to any email in which they promise to get money, get a land or anything else. These robbers are able to provide all the documents that can make anyone believe that they are telling the truth.
For finish white people should be very careful on dating website as they are the first target in the "broutage".
